thiseurope is about much more than the EU institutions. When we write about Europe we write about all of Europe, not just the Brussels bubble. Quite simply, thiseurope is Europe without the boring bits.

Europeans are slowly coming together – whether by budget airline or high-speed train, student exchanges or holiday homes, a shared passion for Spanish football, Belgian beer or Italian food. Yet European newspapers and magazines remain almost exclusively focused on national issues. We aim to fill this gap in Europe's media landscape.
